I'm a 4th year medical student at the University of Auckland's Medical School.

A bit about my education/entrance into medical school:

• I went to Mt Roskill Grammar School from 2009-2013
• I then studied at the University of Auckland in 2014 and completed OLY1 (Biomed) 
• I applied for entrance to Medical School at the end of 2014 
• I was accepted for the 2015 intake 
• I'm in the Class of 2019 

A bit about me as a person:

• I like reading, watching movies/TV shows, or talking a walk to relax 
• Love travelling!
• Want to go to Europe someday 
• During the semester, I'll most likely be in Philson Library (the library at Auckland Uni's Grafton Campus where the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences is based)
• I play the piano and am a piano accompanist for singers 
• Huge foodie!

When I decided to try for Medical School, I found that it was very difficult for me to talk to people about their experiences - there were lots of content by people who went to US and UK Med Schools, but I found few from New Zealand. This is the reason why I created this blog, to help anybody who wants to get into Medicine as well as just to provide insight as to what Medicine is REALLY like.
