My lips have been a little dry as of late and need all the TLC they can get!
So after years of using countless number of different lip balms - some which I've finished, others which I've tossed, I've narrowed down my favourites to 3. These I ADORE and want to share with you today!
It's just a bonus that all of these are super affordable (under NZ$10 each) too!

- Apicare Protect Me Beeswax Lip Balm -
I really like the Protect Me as it has SPF - just remember, you need to
protect your skin from the damaging rays of the sun and lips count
too!
The Revive Me Lip Balm also works great but comes in a pottle with screw on lid and doesn't have SPF so is ideal for night time use.
Both are quite minty, leaving your lips with a nice tingle and plumping them ever so slightly.Their brand is based on using natural products so again, you know it's good for you! My mum also says that they work wonders for cold sores! Containing both propolis and beeswax, they are:
-hydrating
-affordable
-miraculous
This is my Holy Grail lip balm - it's like Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream - you can always come back to it and it'll be there for you. - Hurraw! Balms - I first heard about these from Shaaanxo and xlivlovesmakeup on
YouTube and decided to give them a go. These are my second favourite
lip balms that I've ever used. Ever. It's a huge claim but a true one. I
buy mine off iHerb, here as
they are SUPER affordable and AMAZING quality! They contain all natural
ingredients and are so good for you, you could almost eat them - but
please don't, take it from me - and not to mention that they come in a
range of flavours, all of which smell incredible. They also don't have a
taste which is a big thumbs up from me.I have used the flavours Earl
Grey, Black Cherry Tinted and Coffee. Since I'm a huge coffee addict,
it's no surprise my favourite is Coffee, but the Earl Grey has a lovely
subtle scent and the Black Cherry adds a touch of natural colour. If you haven't tried these, GO AND BUY SOME - after you finish reading my post of course. :)
- Mossop's Natruel Lip Balm - I received this as a trial from Beauty Review (and honestly, if you live in New Zealand and love all things beauty you should be a member already), but you can buy them here. Initially I didn't like it as it's quite thick, heavily scented and didn't seem very moisturising. However, as I gave it a bit of time, I found myself really enjoying it and will be purchasing another tube soon!I use this as my night lip balm, smear on a thick layer, let my lips soak up the goodness, and allowing me to wake to soft, plump, hydrated lips!
